If so, sounds like a virus to me. Unless you meant vmm32.vxd.... But vmm64.vxd pulls up no matches in Microsoft's KB, or in the web search engines. Either way, any vxd is likely copyrighted, and no one can send one to you without breaking copyright law... VMM32.VXD problems are well beyond the scope of this forum, but a google search may yield answers for you.-John
