What happened to the DC6 panel?

Recommended Posts

Guest FS_freak

I dunno if I just dreamed this or I really saw last friday (or saturday)a DC6 panel included in the recent file list on the news page. As I always do, I left it to download from work instead of trying to do so at home through my 45 kb/sec dialup connection. Today I've been over the file library over and over without being able to find the panel. Can anyone shed some light? Where did this panel go?Thanks,Maurice

Hi MauriceIt is still there. Just search for the author Ken Mitchell and it will show up.I made a search using "DC-6" and "DC6" and it didn't show. I have the same problem with an SAS DC-10-30 - it is in the library but does not show up when searching by "DC10", "DC-10" or "DC-10-30". There seems to be some kind of an error in the way the library is searched but I don't know what the problem is. Maybe some Avsim guys can explain this ?Cedar

Yup, I got the file. As you say there is something very wrong with the search engine since it won't show results when searching by the specific aircraft alphanumeric designation. This is going to be a bummer for many and really needs to be dealed with by the Avsim staff ASAP. Is there anybody out there? Thanks for your advise Cedar.Maurice.
