I installed FSX on Vista 64 and the activation process was interrupted because the internet happened to be down at the time. I tried repairing, deleting and reinstalling - nothing worked. I never even got an activation window.What finally worked was going to the Games menu on the right-hand side of the start menu (the black side), locating the FSX icon, copying it and pasting it to my desktop. Then when I ran the game it activated perfectly. This is what MS tech support told me to do, and it worked. Somehow, the desktop shortcut magically satisfied the little activation demon.Just trying to save someone else frustration if this happens to them. Maybe they'll be lucky and such a simple fix will solve their problem, too.
