Do you really have performance problems with that hardware in FS9? I would have expected a question like "How do I get the best image quality in FS9?"Anyway. To maximize performance you should Reduce any AA and AF setting. Enable trilinear optimiziation. Reduce texture filtering quality. Set vertical sync off. You have to test different settings to balance off performance vs image quality, but reducing AA and AF will certainly increase performance.
