My son and I play FSX MP just on local network, but the chat typing is getting tiresome. Can we talk to each other with microphones? Before I go out and buy a couple of gaming mics, is there anything needed for us to talk to each other. Do I need Teamspeak or Ventrilo? Or will it just work as is?Thanks. This is for local play. Since I have never been able to get a LAN working for FSX, I can't be positive, but the built in voice comms in FSX should work. TS or VT is better when using gamespy and they will work fine for a LAN.
