XGauge In Network

Featured Replies

I have ASX installed in my network and all works well. I think. My question is should I see an airplane icon on the Map display in ASX and XGauge showing my planes location? I have a Flight Plan loaded and see it on both displays. Also It seems that the Map Display on ASX controls what is displayed on XGauge. Is this true? Thanks In advance to all who reply.Bill

Hi,If on the Map screen you have Lock to FS Location On, your plane should show on the map and on X Gauge.Yes, due to programming limitations this is the case. Thanks,

Jim,I can't get the Lock to FS Location to work. I click on it but no check mark appears. Also, on further investigation The weather never gets downloaded to FSX on the Server Computer. ASX is communicating with XGauge but is not communicating with FSX. When I download XGafhics Textures to FSX from the Report screen it goes through the process but nothing changes on the Server. I get no errors on either the Server Computer or the Client computer.I have Build 1169 ASX. VISTA 64 on the Server and XP Pro on the Client. What could be the problem?Bill

Hi,I don't think everything is set up correctly on the client. If you can't click on a Lock to box that means that AS is not recognizing your FS.What happens if you run the AI Traffic utility on the client while FSX is running on the server? Thanks,
