Touchdown Sounds- What Volume Control?

Featured Replies

Wondering what volume slider controls touchdown (and ground roll) sounds in FS2002? Seems like they're rather quiet on my machine and I'd like to boost them a bit, at least compared to Fly2 (which I've recently left for FS). Thanks,Joel

Joel, in the same time that it took you to write your message, you could have found out by shoving f'rinstance the "cockpit" and "environment" sliders back and forth, and listening to the various results. Jaap Verduijn.

Thanks for the reply, I guess. Actually I did that and was not at all sure, at least on the two aircraft I tested (FSD Commander and Cub). Those sounds are rather subtle on these two planes and differences in touchdown volume could just as well have been induced by a harder or softer landing.Sometimes it takes just as much/little time to provide a friendly answer, something I always strive to do even when a question at first seems obvious.Best,Joel
