Right now my only bottle neck is the monitor resolution but other wise in areas that count as the middle of nowhere ... no major city I can let those sliders sit on almost max everything. I got water textures up to full but drop those down to around mid 1x when in a major area ... NYC/London etc, same with Autogen going down to dense from extremely dense or max with Nick N's tweaks..Traffic is at 60/60; Airport Vehicles Medium or on occassion I bring it just a lil more, Boats on both to 100/100. Currently flying LevelD over the middle of nowhere in VC with frames in the 50's. Believe it or not I do run with HT enabled and things run smoothly....though I dunno about the 300000 in my buffer pool...Weird stuff some occassional spikes and wavery runways at APs. But, I'm happy with the performance of the i7 so far with x. I spent one week with a healthy pool of addons and I haven't looked back since. FS9 now sits on the old IDE drive and I've loaded it up once. I miss a few addons but I've gained a few goodies over the week. CS 130 Pro, my first Orbx title, UTX CA/USA/EU, GEX USA, REX, some fine scenery addons personal favorites being Manhattan X and VFR London (Frames in the 20's) plane pending...couse I need to cut out some stuff .. AI traffic, water, ap shadows, and minor things. These are stats from in windowed mode seeing I fly mainly online. And, I checked my memory timings too seeing it around 1500 and of course won't see 1600 less I push my CPU 4.0 to but I'm happy with things at 3.6.
