I'm not sure about FS4 but I know FS3 (and perhaps FS2 also) had an air combat mode. It was rudimentary at best. The enemy aeroplanes were visualized as a simple line with another line as wings and yet another one as stab. It was near impossible to find those little buggers, but the main thing is that it was guns only. This weapon module is concentrating on guided weapons, both air to air and air to surface. Guns and other unguided stuff will be added down the line, as will SAMs and hopefully AI-planes that fights back.
