I'm pretty sure you can use the FSX paintkit. I've heard some people on these forums using it in FS9 with success.James Lunsford

hmm i compared some of the liverys from fs9 with the paintkit from fsx and there is a difference because in fsx paintkit there is the whole aircraft side in one file and @ fs9 liverys, there are 3 seperate files

ok since nobody replys to this i tried to do it on my own. i splitted the fsx paintkit into several pieces and saved everything as DX3 extended bitmap. now i have some problem. when i select the aircraft, it looks fine and sharp. but after i pushed "ok" it looks like this (notice that its sharp on one side and not on the other, same in reverse with the stabilizer)1.PNG2.PNG
