Strange scenery prob with Windows 7 7100

Featured Replies

Hi, there, I am running FSX with Windows 7 RC7100 with great success apart from a couple of strange scenery problems. Why can I not see installed scenery in the FSX scenery.cfg file?I have installed the UK2000 Heathrow (the latest version), Birminghan and Edinburgh and they work beautifully even though they do not show up in the cfg file. The only scenery that hasinstalled itself in the scenery.cfg file is the new Channel Isle from Earth simulations. I have searched to see if there is another scenery.cfg file hiding somewhere but cannot find one. Also when I try to manually install scenery in the usual way I click on OK and nothing happens. It must be something to with Windows 7 (or maybe me) that has yet to be ironed out - but at least the scenery is being found somehow by FSX and I can fly forth :( Does anyone out there know what is going on here please? regardsRichard

To install scenery in FSX under W7, choose file of scenery, click OK button, after this just right click on some emtpy place on menu and it will be ok.Rod.
