May 23, 200323 yr Anyone tell me how to get this back. That darn Lago Twotter install changed this automatically to a 'fly by' view without giving me the option to choose this or not. Nor did they give you an option to change this.Worst payware I've ever brought, but the new Beechjet by Eaglesoft and the 421C Golden Eagle, Marchetti F260 shows how it should be done.
May 23, 200323 yr If you closely read the documentation that came with the Twotter, you will see they included Activecam to the system to enhance the VC experience. I gather you haven't tried to fly the bird from the Vitrual cockpit or you'd see an incredible difference when moving around. If you don't like it then you can easily deactivate it(or change the options) by looking under "Options" on the Taskbar at the top of your FS window. Activecam is the bottom entry on the list.Out of curiosity, why do you say the Twotter is the worst payware you've ever bought?Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
May 23, 200323 yr Thanks for your reply Racarton. In answer to your question:I had a reasonably long flight in a Twin Otter in the outback of Australia. Only the pilot and me were on the flight so we talked quite a bit and he allowed me to take the controls for a while. He said that an 8 year old could fly the plane. Not this virtual baby. It's terrible and proliferates the myth that flying is difficult. Even with the patches it doesn't come close to the way the plane flys IRL.Not to mention the well documented problem of the unfinished VC and no props visible from the cockpit. You couldn't see them from the cabin, either because it doesn't exist. It really isn't up to the standard that's been set by other payware producers and many freeware planes outshine this effort. I think it's a disgrace that LAGO have not improved this plane dispite the promises long ago that it would be.They will see no more of my cash.Alan
