June 18, 200916 yr HiI was using TP with FSX since the day it was out ans it was a great experience. Now I'm mainly working on laptop that cant handle FSX but runs FS9 just fine. So I've installed Tileproxy beta8 but FS9 doesnt load the scenery. It renders the default scenery while TP is launched and loads tiles. Some lines from the config:master_enable=Onmax_lod=13preload_min_lod=9preload_max_lod=12water_mask=Onwater_blending=Offenable_dx9hook=Nocache_folder=D:\TP\Cache\cache.service1network_module=libnettilemodule_config="conn=20|rate=2.0|verbose=0|server=http://a*.xxx.net|path=/tiles/a%s.jpeg?g=%v|quad=0123|balance=0123|useragent=Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)"min_level=9max_level=15map_version=282level_mapping=9,10,13,13,13,14,15color_hack=Nocolor_level=13bulk_extend=50It should work normally? How does TP connect to FS9? I have FSUIPC.dll in modules folder, not sure about the version though.FS version is 9.1.OS is Vista SP1 guess it's worth mentioning. UAC is off and the TP shortcut is set to "run as administator". I tryied to disable vista firewall but it didnt help. I'm behind a router maybe I should open some ports? Btw when I go to "Manage Service Caches" there is actually some data in the areas I've tryied to fly. It's just not loading in FS9.Thanks
June 18, 200916 yr I think you have to reinstall Tileproxy and set the check mark on "Also install for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004"
June 18, 200916 yr Ok I've just reinstalled it and "install also for FS2004" was checked. Some screens of what's happening:TP start:FS9 start:In game:And the scenery library:I dont know if it's a bug. I brought them all up above standard scenery but it didnt help unfortunately. Also LOD8 folder wasnt in scenery library, I did add but it didnt change anything.Guess it's just Vista :/

Also LOD8 folder wasnt in scenery library, I did add but it didnt change anything.Guess it's just Vista :/The LOD8 folder wouldn't be supported by FS9 (it uses an FSX specific feature).Hmm... right now I do not know what is wrong.Christian
June 19, 200916 yr HiI tryied to install FSX SP1 on the same system and got the same problem with TP. Tiles are preloading but ingame scenery is default.I know there is some kind of driver or service Tileproxy needs. Is it libnettile? How can I check it's actually running? Thanks
June 25, 200916 yr Moved photoreal world and caches folders from D:\TP to D:\Strange. I will have to try a similar install to find if this is a systematic problem.
July 5, 200916 yr Moved photoreal world and caches folders from D:\TP to D:\These two folders are placed in the default location for me (i.e. C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games.) If I try to move them, TP can't find them and load the tiles.I have exactly the same issue as described above: tiles are there but not loading in FS9. Tried all the things you tried as well, get exactly the same output. It's like TP is not communicating with FS9.Of possible interest: I also have FSX installed on the same drive.
