FSInn disabling my 2nd monitor

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm running FSX on a 9800GT, 2 monitor setup.I have my monitors enabled for dual view, so each monitor runs its own individual thing. When I open FSX, I generally drag my FSInn panels to the 2nd monitor to unclutter my view on the primary. Now, whenever I open up the FSInn UI, my 2nd monitor becomes disabled (in a sense). What exactly happens is that any panel, FSInn or sim, I drag onto the 2nd monitor doesnt show up. But, when I hover my mouse over the spot I dropped the panel, I can click down and drag it back to the primary (where I can see it).Any clue on how I could fix this? The monitor works....it just doesnt want to show anything when FSInn is running. ________________________This really is a mystery. I've also asked on FlightSimWorld.com ( http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/index...howtopic=170197 ), and got no fix. Ive determined that its not a driver problem (I've reverted to the oldest drivers for my card, no joy). My monitors are configured on a dual setup, each with different resolutions. The thing is, I had no problems when I was running this setup on Vista. Now that I've reverted back to XP, I got a problem. I'm going nuts over this.....I cant bear to fly on Vatsim without my 2nd monitor for FSInn panels now that I've already done it before :(One clue might be that FSX starts up on my secondary monitor......which is odd, as its not set as my primary monitor!! http://forums1.avsim.net/lofiversion/index.php/t250038.html < this guy has my same problem and was also stumped. Thanks for any help in advance! I really appreciate it!!!Chris
