July 14, 200916 yr Hi. I am a current owner of ASH6.5 and have been for a very long time. I am really thinking about ASA.Just one question please as I am still confused after reading FAQ.So is this new XGauge pretty much a weather radar? Cos I tried the one from AS6.5 and I find it's not really accurate. Like i tried flying into yellow and red zones sometimes and nothing happens where as sometimes i avoid it and dont go through any colors and i get a very strong turbulence! Please let me know.
July 16, 200916 yr Hi,X Gauge uses a set of symbols around each weather station so in that respect it is not a true Radar. How accurate is it? Well, if a station is reporting rain, a rain symbol is used and it is depicted on XG. It will not show the pattern of the moisture ie. rain bands or turbulence.Thanks!
