MAAM DC3 Gauges missing after B25 install in FSX

Featured Replies

Some time back I installed MAAM DC3 on FSX and ran the update to convert it to FSX and everything was fine.I used the DC3 for several months without a problem, then just today, I installed the MAAM B25 "Briefing Time" in FSX ran the update, and tried the B25 out - It was fine . I didn't try the DC3 immediately afterwards. I exited FSX , then an hour or so later started FSX and selected the MAAM DC3, and to my horror when the Virtual/2D cockpit appeared all the gauges were missing :( (except for the Sperry Autopilot gauges ) and I had not done anything (install or otherwise) further to FSX since I installed the B25. So it Looks as if the B25 install has affected the DC3 gauges for some reason. I'm pretty sure The update for the B25 never mentioned that it might affect the DC3 gauges. Other gauges in all other aircraft in FSX appear fine. Before I try DC3 re-install does anyone know a fix to this ? Any help much appreciated Salamander

Just checked my installation and I have the same problem!I had installed the DC3 plus updates then B25 & updates. The DC3 was OK until the B25 was installed.Vista, FXS SP2.Brian Woolley

The solution to this for me was pretty simple. Just run the file r4dFSXu1.exe , and the gauges are restored. B25 gauges all there as well. I thought of doing this when it happened, but I was a little worried that it might 'screw' things up even further. So wanted to see if anyone had anything to say about it. Happily it hasn't affected anything in FSX as far as I can tell Salamander Batting%20Eyelashes.gif
