Glad you brought it over here though. In the scenery library, delete the area, close FSX, restart, open scenery library and manually add the area. You can also try deleting the area then close FSX. Goto your Start Menu to Programs>MegaSceneryX>LasVegas> then click on Scenery Library Update.Jim Young
July 28, 200916 yr im pretty sure after uninstalling and reinstalling manually etc updating etc that the mods are properly installed however i still get this kind of texture instead of this
July 28, 200916 yr If you installed Mega Las Vegas, why are you showing pictures of Hawai'i? There is a difference between the two, about 2700 miles! :( To try and phrase this nicely, you have a computer that would run FS9 OK, but will suffer with FSX. Your video card and it's 256mb of memory is incapable of rendering the visual clarity that you're seeking. You might try cutting back, way back, on your settings and see if you're able to accomplish something close to OK. Scenery Density - no higher than NORMAL, Autogen Density - SPARSE, Texture Resolution - 2 meters if you're lucky / or 5 meters if you're not, Car Traffic - zero, Boat Traffic - zero, Plane Traffic - zero for both.If you can do this and get better results than the first picture, great. But you're not getting results like the second picture with your hardware. Sorry.
July 28, 200916 yr ok thanx i will try your suggested settings now i showed hawai because i also have megascenery x hawai and it still does the same than with las vegas means nothingok i just tried your settings and still nothing..... so basically its all because of my graphic card? means everything is installed properly but my graphic card is too old to get the graphisms from the mods ...what graphic card do u have or u would suggest me ?
July 28, 200916 yr ... megascenery x hawai ...OMFG!! You misspelled Hawai'i?!? See if you get any help from me...I'd find a spot to test how well your system can function in FSX before I'd think about spending any $$$ on upgrades. Try Reno, Nevada. Set the sliders at no higher than NORMAL, leave the traffic off and see if the textures show any clarity and sharpness. Flight simming is such a demanding piece of software and while you could use a much newer video card, with at least 512mb of memory, truth be told your processor is FS9 level. And I don't see how much system RAM you have, but GB is a good point to be at.So even though you spelled Hawai'i incorrectly... :(
July 28, 200916 yr ok after all the settings and tweaking i could do i came to the conclusion it was my lame video card so im planning to get the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4890 1 Go GDDR5 or the 4870and really hope it will all work after thati have 2048 Mo system RAM (DDR2-533 DDR2 SDRAM)

OMFG!!
