no aircraft shadows during dawn/dusk

the aircraft ground and self shadows are not present for dawn and dusk. the ground shadows are present only when sun is comfortably above horizon, self shadows appear when sun is further up. is this normal?I was expecting a similar winglet shadow as is there on b350 level flight in the screenshot seen during fsx installation.
