SCENERY.DAT file error

Featured Replies

Hi all,I've just installed and setup tileproxy using the "A Tileproxy Quick Guide", however when I load FSX I keep getting the same error message pop up lots of times.I have included a screenshot.Thanks.

And did you do the action suggested in the message?

Nope, what I did was moved tileproxy photoscenery world folder onto root directory of C: drive (was previously in a folder named TPCache), then modified all the entries in my scenery library within fsx, and now IT WORKS, I seem to get lots of error messages in tileproxy cli window but it doesnt affect the scenery when flying in fsx.:-)

I have included a screenshot.
Looks a bit like the file got corrupted when you moved it across drives.

No, I think I didn't explain myself correctly, sorry! When installing tileproxy, I specified C:\TPCache as the temp folder and also the photoreal world folder thingy. But tileproxy didn't work, so I moved the photoreal world folder thingy onto the root of C: instead of in the C:\TPCache folder and now Tileproxy works ok but sometimes I get error messages in the CLI stating "write memory unbuffered(): unable to create file 'C:\tpcache\tileproxy photoreal world\0601\texture\lots of files.bmp' error code $00000003"Any ideas whats going on?Also I have another problem with landmass covered in sea but I will create a seperate thread for that.Thanks. =)
