When I try to find my local weather station for the airport I am based at (RW) it gives me a nearby one instead. I am base at M89 in Arkansas and AS gives me the weather for KHOT. Now we use KHOT when the KM89 weather station is offline, but the NOTAM at my university states KM89 weather overrides KHOT. So a long story short is why will ASv6.5 not give me the METAR from KM89? It says the ID is not vaild? This is the METAR as of 5 mins ago via NOAA KM89 192056Z AUTO VRB04KT 6SM HZ SCT026 BKN030 BKN055 31/26 A2989 RMK AO2 58025 T03050255 BKN V SCT LTG DSNT E SLP132

So my default what do you mean. Because the airport is not a add-on. Or do you mean as in default airport weather stations? Because I know the M89 weather station is not old, but I think it predates FS9.

Hi,It's the fact that M89 is not a weather station in FS. It is an airport, so we pull in the closest weather station data, which is KHOT. That is the best we can do!Thanks,
