August 23, 200916 yr I prefer to pan my views using the mouse instead of using the hat switch on my joystick while in the virtual cockpit view. However one problem I have with doing it this way is that if I want to us the mouse wheel as throttle, it is not sensitive enough and I must scroll it over and over many times to get full throttle. The reason why I want to use the mouse wheel as a throttle and not my joystick's throttle is so that I can pan my views with the mouse while controlling the throttle. Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse wheel in FSX for throttle usage? I tried doing it through the mouse properties in Windows Vista but even at the 1 page at a time scroll setting it's still not sensitive enough for throttle usage in FSX. Is there a way I can assign the mouse wheel as an axis in FSX?
