September 5, 200916 yr I see that the TileProxy manual as well as Truthan's guide states that it's best to run TP with UAC switched off. What's the problem if you don't switch it off? I'd rather keep it switched on for everyday use. I searched this forum for "UAC", but didn't get any hits.

The default shortcut placed in the start menu doesn't have the "Start as Administrator" option checked. Also I am not sure if the installer would run thorugh and properly install the driver with UAC enabled.Christian
September 6, 200916 yr Ok, no problem then. I'll just run the installation as admin and same thing with the bat file. Thanks!
September 29, 200916 yr I received an error about driver signing while installing tileproxy beta 8, but it seems to run fine. I am running Windows 7 RC 64-bit (6GB memory installed). I disabled UAC and disabled driver signing check (F8 on startup) and the error still popped up when installing again.Am I missing out on something because of that error or is TP operating normally? Thanks
