Well in FSX with acceleration FSX SP1 the preview box is black and so the game with a blinking loading box. ATC works. Should i try installing it agian. I play other DX 10 games and have Aug 2009 update.Uhg. Windows XP SP3. Quad Core. ATI Readon HD UltraCool 512mb DDR3. 2G RAM.

It appears you installed FSX then Acceleration then FSX SP1? If you have Acceleration installed, you do not need to install SP1. Acceleration contains SP1 and SP2 versions so, if you installed SP1 after you installed Acceleration, this could be causing your problem. With the preview box being black, that indicates to me you might have a memory issue and your aircraft are having problems showing up in the box. Make sure you have the /3GB switch installed and return your FSX.cfg settings to the default and see if that fixes it. Windows XP will not allow the use of DX10 in FSX, only DX9.
