Is there any possible way to have the airline callsign be either Airbus or Boeing? I have tried these before, but it doesnt seem to work. I know that FS2002 'knows' these names, though as they are spoken when I state the a/c type to ATC.

Here's one easy way to do that: if you set the airline and flight number to "none", then the aircraft is referred to by its manufacturer and tail number.Nick.
