October 5, 200916 yr The FSBreak podcast is sponsoring a mission design/concept contest and would encourage all forum members to participate. You can find the details here: http://www.fszone.org/forums/topic/10862-m...oncept-contest/ NO actual programming is required, and your entry can be as simple as a couple of paragraphs describing you idea for a mission to as complicated as a multipage document with pictures, flowcharts, etc. The KEY, by far, is coming up with a mission concept that is interesting/fun/challenging and one that you would want to fly yourself. Depending up the quality of the submissions, a professional mission designer/programmer might actually code your idea into a proper FSX mission. And Aerosoft has kindly donated TWO free software downloads to the winner and ONE free software download to the runner up. Be sure to listen to the interview with Aerosoft's own Thorsten Reichert in FSBreak episode 36 for tips on what makes a good mission concept at http://www.fsbreak.net/podcast/36. DAB[Note: this post is secondary to the main announcement in the general forum since it is likely to be of particular interest to readers here, but readers of the more generalized thread are strongly encouraged to participate as well because no actual coding is required.]
