Would someone having ASA/FSX be willing to do an approach to KLUK 21L with the stock Mooney Bravo? I have tried every smoothing/turbulence tweak in the manual & on forum (FSUPIC/FSX config settings, DWC on/off, etc), also have all turbulence and thermal sliders in ASA to 0, deleted all thermals on the Thermals tab, but unless I disable turbulence effect on aircraft in FSX settings, on EVERY approach I shoot into this airport, I get a serious updraft just before the threshold. I also still get turbulence in flight - odd, seeing as I have it all turned off at this point?I know there is a wide audience regarding weather - some simmers want all the gusts/turbulence/thermals ASA/FSX can muster, I'm sort of the opposite. For my personal preference, I find these highly exaggerated and am having a quite difficult time getting these effects tamed to where I can have them enabled but also still be satisfied with the effect on the aircraft. While I do not have extensive r/w experience, I do have 20+ hours in a C150 toward my PPL...one of those lessons was in such gusty/turbulent conditions (gusts 12-25KT) the instructor almost canceled...we went up anyway due to my insistence. To keep it short, I simply do not remember the approach and landing being anywhere near as extreme as I experience in FSX under similar conditions.To head off any critics :( , my end goal is not to have 0 effects whatsoever as I do want to eventually have them - I would just very much like to get to 0 effects (without disabling turblence effects on a/c in FSX settings) as a baseline and then start adding effects back in to my personal taste.Any advice (and in particular, reproduction of my experience on a KLUK 21L approach w/ASA & FSX) greatly appreciated.Warm regards,Joe Miller

Interesting. No, running stock FSX - no addons whatsoever except registered FSUIPC and ASA (networked). Appreciate you taking the time to check this out - at least lets me know that the issue is "user error" and that I have settings issues to yet resolve. Thanks!Warm regards,Joe
