i download quite a bit. i dont know what i did but FS2002pro loads the aircraft directly in VC mode. this causes probloms with some aircrafts and panels. when i try to load tham FS crashes. how do i revert to the old position when FS would load the aircraft in 2d cockpit view.also my default airfield has changed from Meigs to whichever location i loaded last. how do i make my default Meigs again.

thanks for the maili figured the problom out. i had installed the new HUD files which i downloaded recently from flightsim. the update had a new panel.cfg which was to be put in aircraftdefaultpanel directory. luckily i renamed my old panel.cfg under a different name. then i went back and reverted to the old file. FS became normal again. thanks anyway for your tip. will keep a note for it.
