Still trying to figure out all the workings of AS and ASG. Can someone please tell me if my understandings of the workings are correct, by saying whether the following statements are true or false:1) If I don't open ASG, and the auto-submit graphics option is unchecked, FS will use default FS cloud graphics2) If I don't open ASG, but I do check off auto-submit and have sky theme and cirrus themes set to random, FS will use random ASG cloud graphics.3) If I do open ASG pick a theme and "send to FS9", and I have auto-submit checked off with sky and cirrus themes set to random, FS will use what I sent from ASG, not random.

Hi Bill,1. False- FS will use the last installed textures. When you close FS down, the textures do not change back to default textures. So that means when you start FS up again, the last textures installed will still be used.2. True3. TrueThanks!

Ok, follow-up question of the day:4) If I don't open either AS or ASG, and just run FS9 and choose user-defined weather, I will get weather and graphics from the last time info was imported from AS and ASG (even if it was several days ago).

Hi,False. Weather is not saved in FS unless you save your flight. Then when you fly that saved flight the weather will be used for a brief time. Graphics will be used.Remember, AS should run and be kept running every time you fly if you want current weather.Thanks,

The question arose because I'm now playing around with Vatsim (without AS&ASG for now) and I was experiencing current weather through Vatsim. That made me wonder if I was still getting the cloud graphics from my last AS/ASG session. So it sounds like I was getting Vatsim weather and previous ASG graphics.
