October 14, 200916 yr I fly props to heavy jets. Problem is , i usually make the twist joystick (rudder/ airleron/ elevator) more sensitive for bigger planes, and less sensitive for smaller planes. so i have to change FSx sensitivity settings when i change plane.I looked into my registered version of fsuipc as a fix to this problem, but to my suprise, the fsuipc manual says any joystick axis assigned to fsuipc axis control (and removed from fsx control), will not support force feed back, in short fsuipc does not support force feedback, i need force feed back so i closed the fsuipc chapter there. The Solution.----------------------If you use FSx to manage settings for your controls, all this settings are stored in a file called standard.xml. Includes all button assigments, and controller sensitivity settings. After some investigation i found a fix to my issue. In the standard.xml file there is a section where integer numbers are stored to indicate your fsx settings for Airleron sensitivity and Null ZoneRudderr "Elevator "Six numbers in all to represent the lot.To find out where in standard.xml this numbers are just search the file for the wordsAxScale for controller sensitivity settings of all kindsAxNull for Controller Null zone settings of all kindsI only need to change Rudder/Airleron and Elevator for each category of plane.
