October 25, 200916 yr I fired up FS9 last week and it would crash every time I tried to load a plane. I deleted the FS9cnfg file and let it rebuild, but nothing worked. I finally had to uninstall FS9 and tried to re-install it, but now I receive the message: Setup was unable to find (or could not read) the language specific setup resource dll, unable to continue. Please reboot and try again. Has anyone else had this problem? I have searched and searched on Google for a solution to this problem. I tried all of the fixes that MS suggest to no avail. I was able to use the 4 disc and install FS9 on my laptop with no problem so I don't think its a problem with the disc.ThanksRegan

October 26, 200916 yr Thanks Gus for the suggestion. I gave it a shot and it worked. The only problem I'm having is when I try to install my addons I have to manually direct them to the FS9 folder. Its a small price to pay to have FS up and running again though.
