October 31, 200916 yr Hi, Before and after SP1 I have an issue with the FMS. During start up I switch on the GPU and following the normal sequence which includes programming the FMS. When it comes to push back and disconnecting the GPU the FMS powers off immediately even though I can then power it back on under batteries. Is this a bug or a power up sequence (me) problem? At the moment I either have to rely totally on batteries or program the FMS after the pushback on the taxiway, which may annoy a few vatsim twrs if it is busy.Cheers,Michael
October 31, 200916 yr The way I get around that is I do a self push back with the engines meaning I can start start the #1 engine before disconnecting the cart then start the #2 release the brakes and slowly reverse engines till you hear start lock removed. Then keep moving them back till the JS starts to roll back wards. Hope this helps. I think somewhere in the forum it was talked about before and that its a limit to the circuits of the JS so it is the same in real life.
