Alaska / Horizon Virtual

Featured Replies

Alaska / Horizon Virtual Airlines is opening to the public today. We ONLY use all 53 real-world Alaska / Horizon routes. For the real-world and virtual pilots who enjoyed the MD-82/83 we still use them even though the real world Alaska does not. Alaska / Horizon Virtual will credit 50% of all verifiable Vatsim hours and 30% of all verifiable virtual airline hours. All pilots with no vatsim or virtual airline history start at our express hub located at KSEA (Seattle, Washington) in the Dash-8-Q400 / CRJ-700 program for Horizon. After pilots earn 10 hours in the express hub they will be moved to one of our five hubs up and down the west coast. once you move to our mainline you have the option to fly the following aircraft:MD-82MD-83737-400737-700737-800737-900ERDash-8-Q400CRJ-700- You must have a current valid Vatsim ID.- Be able to fly 2 flights a month to stay active.- Be able to use FSINN or SB for online flying.- If flying offline we ask that you be able to Use FSACARS or FSPassengers for your PIREPS.- If you are unable to fly 2 flights a month please contact our HR Office via the link on our website to request a LOA.- If you don't know how to use FSACARS or if you do not own a copy of FSPassengers please let us know so we can setup a new PIREP plan for you.- If you are terminated from Alaska / Horizon Virtual you may reapply, please note your application will be set for review by our Board of Directors. We hope to see you in the virtual skies. If you feel like you could not find a good Alaska / Horizon Virtual please come fly us at: Alaskavirtualair Our website if fully working but we are still making some changes to our main page so it is not final.Thank YouJ.
