can FS2004 ATC be comparible to Radar contact 3?

I'm interested to get Radar contact3 for ultimate realism in flying experiance, but since FS2004 with it's "enhanced ATC system" is on the horizon, so I doubt is the FS2004 ATC be as good as radar contact?As far as I know Radar contact can not communicate with AI aircrafts (and vice versa) yet, so I thought IF I buy it now maybe I have to pay for their upgrade later to make it FS2004 compatible, or yet for their addition features mentioned above. Vatin
