Blurred ground textures in FS 2002

Featured Replies

Hi!I wonder what I am doing wrong, because I sometimes getblurred ground textures in my FS 2002.They sort of pop and get blurred as I fly by,it is like they bulge.Any remedy for this?Grateful for tips.........Thanks!Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

It is called "dynamic blurring", and is a change from previous versions of flight simulator. Although they can't be eliminated, they can be reduced by:-Using the fps lock--the lower the lock, the more cpu time devoted to the textures.-Making the most of your RAM. This means keeping all apps closed except for FS2002.-Not switching views too often.-Lowering display setting in FS, such as AI and Autogen, water reflections and shadows--things which take cpu time to process. There have been 100's of posts on the subject--you may want to look at the tips link to get more suggestions. -John
