FS2004: San Francisco

Featured Replies

Anyone know how detailed San Francisco is, both the city and airport? I'm assuming since KSFO was one of the detailed airports in FS2002 that this remains true, and I'm hoping they've added a few more details.

There are quite a few screenshots of both SFO and the downtown area available at this and other FS sites; if you'll do a search you shouldn't have too much trouble finding them. You'll see that SFO is photo-real and quite detailed; and as for the city it looks really good as well especially with the new auto-gen objects. Also, the Golden Gate now appears to show up from a long distance, unlike 2002 when it "popped up" only when you flew close to it. As a matter of fact, and perhaps those with gold copies can confirm this, major buildings and other objects now appear to be drawn at a much greater distance than in 2002. Hope this helps!
