It'll depend on a couple of things: if they coded the gauge files to the MS API, and if they use fsuipc.dll. I remember a lot of gauge files from FS2000 didn't work initially in FS2002 until somebody came out with a gauge cleaner utility. I have no idea what that did, maybe reassigned the ordinals in the file (a .gau is nothing more than a .dll disguised), so maybe there will be a quick fix if this is a problem going from 2002 -> 2004. We'll see (fingers crossed, as I've got a _lot_ of panels that work beautifully in 2002 that I would like to move to 2004).
