So is the tin box only going to be available in certain places or is it going to be available everywhere?just curious.

I believe only certain places, but I stand to be corrected. There has, for instance been no mention of it here in Australia, where I assume they will all be boxed in carboard packaging. I guess if you get in quickly enough at the Avsim store, they are distributing tins until they run out.
