FS2000 Around the World Flight

Featured Replies

Back in the day when FS2000 was the newest version of flight simulator, the web site (which no longer exists) had a link to an "Around the World Flight". Microsoft set the route, including recommended planes, waypoints, airports, etc., and you flew it. It was pretty cool, and I wanted to give it another try with FS2002, but I can't seem to find it anymore since the FS2000 site redirects you to the FS2004 site. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the route?John.

It's still in the article archive.http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...world_intro.aspEDIT: I think I'll do this trip when I get FS2004 with the stock aircraft. After that it's time to add all the third party stuff.

Howdy,Hey, thanks for that link ... looks like a great deal of fun.

Yep, it's great, many of the landmarks still exist in FS2002, and I hope they will be in FS2004, I will be starting my 3rd flight around the globe in a little more than a couple of Weeks!!!!!!!!!!(Advise: Get yourself some Approach plates from the web or from commercial Vendors)
