EastJet starts service to Los Angeles, Florida, and the Midwest December 23rd!

Chicago-EJ TimesEastJet Virtual, the Chicago based airline that quickly went out of business some 10 months ago announces come back, new routes. "We are back just in time for the last minute holiday travel our customers will being doing this season." CEO Shawn Fitts stated just minutes ago from Chicago's Midway Airport. "We are encouraging everyone to take a look at the new EastJet. New attitude, new routes, and a renewed excellence." Mr Fitts continued. EastJet will start service serving Los Angeles, Tampa, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Charlotte, and a destination that will be announced in the coming days as a contest ran by EastJet on December 23rd from their Chicago Midway hub. EastJet has taken delivery of its first leased Boeing 737-700W aircraft and expect to have the first five on property by December 15th. EastJet is also recalling half of its pilot force and some 200 front office employee's in Cincinnati, jobs that weren't replaced when EastJet announced lay offs early this year. "We owe it to our employee's and the communities that EastJet operates in to bring as many jobs as possible back to those areas." Mr Fitts mentioned while addressing a crowd gathered around the EastJet gate area.Asked about relaunching a airline in a recessive economy when most airlines are cutting flights and raising fares, Mr Fitts answered "We have a solid history of making money in hard times. We also know how to do something our competitors have lost touch in, we take care of what matters most, our customers."
