Some weird problem

Featured Replies

so I upgraded my computer to i5 @ 3.6Ghz with 4G DDR3. 8800GT 512.I am flying the A2A J3 and have some lag problem but the weird thing is when I look @ the FPS counter it should be smooth (about 20s, lock 30). I am running with REX, Active Sky Adv., scenery set at mid-high with auto-gen set to very dense.I was flying 1000 ft over alaska (a lot of trees) and it was somehow lagging. if I lower auto gen to dense it seems to be better. so I'm not sure why is it happening.

I don't think a computer has been made yet that can run FSX with the default tree settings. Try modifying the 'Terrian' settings in the FSX.cfg to these and see if it helps. Save the default in case you want to revert.TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN_TREES_PER_CELL=800TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN_BUILDINGS_PER_CELL=500
