Mission problem

Featured Replies

Help required please.Operating system Vista. FSX Deluxe, Service Packs 1 and 2.Problem:My problems are with the default FSX missions. The first is with "Civil Air Patrol Search", to find the downed aviator. I have attempted to fly this mission at least 5 times, and on each occasion the aircraft's performance lacks the ability to carry out a successful result. Taking the same aircraft from the generic hangar, I can get performance which would allow a successful mission. The second problem is with the Amazon Trek mission. With this mission I have a few troubles.(1) Scenery. My rivers, lakes and starting airport all seem to be enclosed in the top of a pinnacle of land.(2) Missing temple facade. Instead of a temple I have a sheer rock wall.(3) I landed in the river near the base airport at SPIL, but did not get a successful completion of the mission. Returning to Free Flight has a carry over from the Mission. The mission compass appears on the screen, flight planner will not activate as it should, fuel and payload is not active, time and season is not active, plus several other selections used in Free Flight setup. Cancellation of the Mission is not effective. A Window says "Mission failed" and three boxes saying "pending". I thought "End the Mission" returned to a clean slate. The only way I can set up a Free Flight is through the opening Window of FSX.Does anyone know how to untangle Mission from Free Flight please?Edmo
