Vista to a fresh Win7

Recommended Posts

Guest Carvelle5000

Hi,I am thinking of upgrading my 32 bit Vista OS to a 64 bit Win7 Pro. But what I want to do is to start all the way from the beginning on the same system with Win7. I mean like entering the user name, password etc. all over again to start with a fresh computer. So how do I do this? I have a laptop with two hard drives. Should I format the hard drives, remove Vista and then install Win7 via CD boot and start all over again or is the procedure different?Cheers,Carvelle5000

When you insert the Win7 DVD and start up your computer you will be given the option to reformat. It's called a clean install. For all the options in installing Windows 7 and step-by-step instructions, I highly recommend the following link: http://www.winsupersite.com/win7/. Paul has every possible scenario including what you want to do.Best regards,Jim
