I use Vatsim quite a bit and am comfortable with SB, RW etc. However, I have recently been trying to use FS Multiplayer to hook up with a friend using him as host. We are having some troubles (he can see me but I can't see him).In an attempt to rectify this, I want to be the host, but as I am unfamiliar with XP, I can't figure out how to find my IP address.Can anyone help? (Yes, I do disable the XP firewall).Cheers.

I use windows 2000 pro myselfto find your IP in Xp go to START - RUN - and type ipconfig and hit runtheres a line that says IP Address.If you are under a router, then the ip will probably be 192.168.1.1xxIn that case you have to find your EXTERNAL ip address.Chances are you arnt so i wont get into that...

Thanks!What you said reminded me of a comment I once heard about XP. Using the Start - Run doesn't wotk in XP, but I then tried ipconfig in the DOS command window & it gave me all the information.Thanks!
