fatal error

Featured Replies

Hello, I know that this has been brought up before about the fatal error. I used to get the fatal error message when I reloaded FSX sometimes but now I cannot even play at all. It doesn't matter what aircraft/place/time or anything. It loads to 100% and then the fatal error message comes up everytime. It was working earlier today so idk.

Suggest you rename the FSX.cfg to fsx.old and restart the sim and let the FSX.cfg rebuild. If that doesn't work, what did the error message state? You can check the Event Viewer to possibly see the error that caused the "event" and that may hold the clue to what caused the CTD. There are so many possibilities. It could be the dll.xml is corrupted or the bglman.dll (sp) (belongs to FS Dreamteam) is not loading correctly (I get those errors/crashes a lot), the scenery.cfg is somehow corrupted or bad sound/video card drivers are some examples.Best regards,Jim

I renamed the FSX.cfg file and it seems to be working ok now. Thanks
