How do I get a CD out of a dead computer??

The reason I ordered a new computer is because my mobo and powersource with tango uniform on me. So I figured I'd get a new computer to run FS2004 and 2002 a little better. BUT, I seem to have left my FS2002 disk in the cd drive, and now I have no power to turn the comp on to get it out? How do I go about removing it without tearing the whole thing apart?? Thanks for any help. L-19 Birddog Pilot

Take a paper clip and bend it open so that you have a thin wire. On the front of your CD drive, you should see a little hole. Push the paper clip in that hole. That should open the CD slot enough for you to pull it open by hand.John

Take a paper clip, bend it straight and insert and push it in the small hole under the cd caddy. This will open it up. It is there just for this situation. I believe you should be able to close it afterwards also. The other option is to temp power from your new system. Power down, open case, find extra 12 volt plug, plug it in...you only have to give it power. Boot your system, it won't see it...it will just be powering it. Open it up to your cd, close it..power down, unplug and put case back on.
