January 28, 201016 yr I have a new laptop that I am trying to install FSX and when I put in disk 1 it starts to install and I get the following messageFSX Error Internal Error 2718 {9527A496-5DF9-412A-ADC7-168BA-5379CA6} after I click ok to exit that message I get the following messageError:-1603 Fatal Error during installation Consult windows installer help [msichn]I have a HP Pavillion dv7 with Windows Premium Home 64AMD Turion II Dual-Core Mobile M5202.3 mhz AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Raden HD 4200I am trying to find out why I can not install FSX any help would be greatly appreciated JeffG

JeffG
January 29, 201016 yr I doubt a system restore will help you in this instance. I would download one of the free registry cleaners and clean out your registry, then check for any FSX directories on your harddrive, delete, then try a reinstall. Best regards,Jim
