January 30, 201016 yr Hold problemWhen i fly the mopil arrival at LFPG, on IAF VELER Vox ATC prompt me "Fly Hold as specified" and no more contact.I defined STAR with start at Mopil and end at Veler and VoxATC instructs me to fly the mopil arrival on Mopil. Can anyone help me? Christian
February 1, 201016 yr Hi Christain,As Beta tester I made a flight from EBBR to LFPG tonight and used MOPIL (with Veler) as STAR. I did not get the instruction 'Fly Hold as specified' but ATC gave me a few headings when I reached Int. SOTUS which ended up in a 360. Eventually I was instructed to fly Veler and landed on RNWY26L at LFPG. Are you sure you do not have the 'Enroute Holding' box selected in the VoxATC settings? I will try to figure out why I had to make this 360 while my 'Enroute Holding' box was not selected. What was your departure airport and at which RNWY did you land? I will get back to you,Lion
February 2, 201016 yr Author HI Lionthank you for your replyMy departure airport was ENGM (Oslo) and Ireached RWY 26Lwhere i was directed by ATC after reinitialisation. I observed the same processus when I join LFML by any STAR ended at IAF CALAN.(enroute box is not selected)Christian
February 17, 201016 yr Hi Christain,I did another flight to LFPG with the mopil arrival on IAF VELER but Vox ATC never prompted me 'Fly Hold as specified'. I did learn from the developer that some STARS take you quite close in to the airport in which case you could be vectored back out and around onto the approach, maybe that is what was happening. So far I only experianced it once. Hope it's not happening to often on your flights,Lion

This procedure allows you to fly your final approach directly after the STAR and seems more natural to me.
