Hello...Anyone tried it? I tried ver. 5 a long time ago and thought it was reallygood. Definitely superior than MSFS in almost every way. If some of you have already tried it then I would be interested in your personal opinion of it.

X-Plane is currently in version 9.4x which has come a long way since version 8, and version 10 which is widely expected to be another major upgrade is coming relatively soon (probably at some stage this year).As to its superiority to MSFS - in some areas it's definitely superior, in others MSFS has the edge. Personally I prefer X-Plane though my experience with MSFS is relatively limited. However it does depend on how you're going to use your sim of choice and what add-ons you choose to use. My advice to you would be to get the time-limited demo from www.x-plane.com and try it for yourself.Setanta
