July 28, 200322 yr I am enjoying Fs2k4, but am wondering whether others share my experience with the NYC area? Although JFK has finally gotten a desperatly needed facelift and there are also a few more bridges, the buildings of Manhattan seem a bit less photorealistic than in the previous version. I have experimented with different settings, but the still seem to have a more cartoonish appearance than before (even reminds me a little of NYC in Fly!). This is only my first impression, and I have not had a chance to go back and compare directly with FS2k2, but somehow it seems a little less impressive than before. That being said, the new night textures do look fabulous in NYC.For some reason, they also messed up the control tower at LGA, which looked much closer to the real thing in the last version. It now bears no resemlance to the real tower at all.Andrew
July 28, 200322 yr I think it has to do with the color of the water in FS2004. Its very simular to the color of the water in Fly. It looks too blue for NY water. It should be Dark murky green. I admit, NYC looks pretty with beautiful clear blue water, but thats just not the way it really is. Other than that, I havn't noticed it changing much from 2002. JFK looks a lot better! Rob
