How to Edit aircraft Sound Cockpit vs outside

Hello,I have a home cockpit, and often use headphones to listen to ATC as I fly and have found that I find the aircrafts sounds to be more realistic from the outside view point.From inside, it is to dampened, too quite, especially with headphone on.My question is this..............Is it possible to edit the CFG file so that when I am inside the cockpit, I hear the sounds as though I was outside?I have looked at in the sound.cfg for the aircraft ( in this case the Baron) but have not been able to find how to do this, if possible.Thanks for any help,~Polmer
